Man Killed in Road Accident Near Jhanji Lefera Village

A 37-year-old carpenter, Madhab Hazarika, died in a road accident near Jhanji Lefera village on NH61 in Sivasagar district on Sunday night. He was riding his motorcycle when he crashed into a parked dumper truck, which fled the scene.

Local residents and police rushed him to Sivasagar Civil Hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries. Hazarika, a resident of Amguri, is survived by his wife and a minor son.
