Hatigaon Police Arrest Couple for Honeytrap Attempt

Hatigaon police arrested a girl and her boyfriend for attempting to honeytrap a youth. The girl had earlier accused two men of rape at a homestay but later retracted. One of the accused, Bishal Barman, later filed a complaint stating she demanded ₹1 lakh and a gold chain, threatening to leak something to the media. Police identified it as part of a honeytrap racket and arrested the couple.
