Youth Congress Files FIRs Against Minister Mallabaruah Over Garukhuti Corruption

The APCC Youth Wing filed two FIRs in Guwahati and Biswanath, accusing Minister Jayanta Mallabaruah of Garukhuti project corruption. They say influential leaders redirected welfare funds meant for beneficiaries to their own families. The youth wing also accused former Congress leaders now in BJP of forming syndicates and confessing illegal activities. In Biswanath, they charged Mallabaruah with misappropriating public property and cheating in Gir cow procurement. The Biswanath Press Club demanded his public apology after he called journalists “lower rung,” prompting his online regret.
