Guwahati Wins Promising Swachh Shehar Award in Swachh Survekshan 2024

Guwahati secured the Promising Swachh Shehar Award in the 3–10 lakh population category, ranking 44th nationally in Swachh Survekshan 2024. The city also received ODF+ and One Star Garbage Free City status. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma congratulated the GMC team, calling it a reflection of Assam’s progress in urban sanitation.
