Amit Shah Modi to Visit Assam Ahead of Assembly Polls

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Assam on August 29 to inaugurate the new Raj Bhavan in Guwahati, address NDA panchayat representatives, and attend the birth centenary celebration of former CM Golap Borbora. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said Shah’s visit will mark the start of BJP’s political narrative for next year’s state polls. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive on September 8 to inaugurate the Numaligarh bio-ethanol refinery, lay foundations for key infrastructure projects, and launch Bhupen Hazarika’s birth centenary celebrations. The BJP is mobilising MPs, MLAs, and workers to ensure the success of both visits.
