Gaurav Gogoi Vows Congress Will Oppose Atrocities in Name of Immigration

APCC chief Gaurav Gogoi, during his first visit to Tinsukia, said Congress will not allow atrocities on Assamese people over alleged illegal immigration. He challenged CM Himanta Biswa Sarma to reveal the number of Bangladeshi nationals deported and accused the BJP of using the issue for political gain while failing on jobs and rights. Gogoi also urged the CM to resign for these failures.
