Assam Deports 21 Bangladeshi Infiltrators at Midnight

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that 21 Bangladeshi infiltrators were deported from Sribhumi district at midnight. He said 58 have been deported in the past fortnight and over 400 in recent months. Sarma reaffirmed the state’s commitment to an infiltration-free Assam and urged people to protect their land, culture, and identity. Security forces, including BSF, have intensified vigilance along the Indo-Bangladesh border.
