Assam CM Congratulates CP Radhakrishnan on VP Nomination

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma congratulated Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan on being nominated as NDA’s Vice President candidate, calling him a veteran statesman dedicated to public service. BJP president J P Nadda announced the decision after PM Modi-led discussions. Radhakrishnan, a two-time MP and former Governor of Telangana and Puducherry, has over four decades in politics. The Vice Presidential election is set for September 9.
