AASU, NESO Stage Protests Demanding Ouster of Illegal Immigrants

AASU, under NESO, staged a sit-in at Dighalipukhuri, Guwahati, demanding the removal of illegal Bangladeshi immigrants. Similar protests occurred in Meghalaya and Mizoram. Leaders urged constitutional safeguards, NRC update, border sealing, exclusion of CAA, and full implementation of the Assam Accord.
