Akhil Gogoi Launches ‘Jatiya Jagaran Yatra’ from Sivasagar

Raijor Dal chief Akhil Gogoi launched the ‘Jatiya Jagaran Yatra’ from Ranghar on August 19, aiming to spread the party’s vision of a ‘New Assam’. He stressed indigenous leadership, demanded a solution to the foreigners’ issue, and pledged ST status for nine communities. The campaign also focuses on 100% irrigation, village industries, and employment generation ahead of the 2026 polls.
