Assam Congress Files FIR Against BJP Leaders Over Rajiv Bhawan Clash

The Assam Congress lodged a complaint at Bhangagarh Police Station accusing BJP leaders, including state vice president Ratna Singh and media convenor Rupam Goswami, of vandalism, trespassing, and threats during a protest at Rajiv Bhawan. The party alleged BJP workers assaulted police, threw ink on DCP Mrinal Deka, and intimidated Congress members, including women. The protest was reportedly sparked by alleged derogatory remarks against PM Modi’s mother. Congress has demanded a thorough probe and legal action.
