Gogoi Urges Centre to Address Differently-Abled Issues in Assam

Jorhat MP Gaurav Gogoi has urged Union Minister Dr. Virendra Kumar to address concerns of differently-abled persons in Assam. Following a meeting with Pratibandhi Suraksha Sanstha, Gogoi highlighted demands for implementing the divyang pension, and filling 4,419 backlog posts for persons with disabilities. The organisation warned of protests in Delhi if the Centre fails to act.
