Only Three Granted Citizenship Under CAA in Assam
Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said only three people have gained citizenship under the CAA out of 12 applications. He noted fears of lakhs of foreigners applying were unfounded, as most migrants lack required documents. Nine applications remain under review.
