Teen and Man Found Dead in Guwahati Guest House

Guwahati woke up to shock on Sunday after the bodies of a 15-year-old boy from Ganesh Nagar and 35-year-old Mokibur Rahman of Barpeta were found at Toosonj Guest House in Borbari. Police discovered the crime scene around 2 am on September 7, just hours after the boy’s family filed a missing complaint.

Investigations suggest Rahman may have murdered the teenager before dying by suicide. He had checked into the guest house a day earlier and returned with the boy in an SUV.

Forensic experts, aided by sniffer dogs, examined the site while CCTV footage has been seized for analysis. Police said Rahman and the boy were from the same locality, making their connection central to the probe.

Authorities are exploring all possible motives, including a personal feud, as the gruesome incident has left residents deeply disturbed.
