Assam to Hold 14,690 Health Camps for Women’s Care

CM Himanta Biswa Sarma announced 14,690 health and screening camps across Assam under Swast Naari, Sashakt Parivar. Covering 24,000 villages, the camps will screen for diabetes, hypertension, and cancer, alongside child healthcare. Initiatives include Nikshay Mitra Abhijan for TB patients, 75+ blood donation camps, and expanded Orunodoi benefits for 30 lakh women.
