Polling Personnel Deployed for Crucial BTC Elections in Kokrajhar

Around 4,500 polling personnel moved to 942 stations across Kokrajhar on Sunday for the fifth BTC elections. The district has over 7 lakh voters and 100 candidates contesting in 12 constituencies. Voting will be held tomorrow from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm under tight security. Across the Bodoland region, over 26 lakh voters will decide the fate of 316 candidates for 40 council seats. Counting is set for September 26.
