Cotton University Holds Students’ Union Election Amid Energetic Campaigns

Cotton University held its annual students’ union election with vibrant campaigns and polling across seven booths. Sixteen posts were contested, with three filled unopposed. Presidential candidates Deep Shekhar Kalita and Debashish Barman led the race, focusing on infrastructure, academics, and student welfare. The election, marked by tributes to Zubeen Garg and calls for accountability, reflected the democratic spirit of the historic institution.
