Assam CM Launches CM-FLIGHT to Send 50,000 Youths to Japan for Employment

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced the CM-FLIGHT programme, aiming to train Assamese youth in Japanese and provide jobs abroad. The initiative targets 50,000 youths, initially training 200, with plans to expand. Fees have been reduced to Rs 30,000 per applicant, with government and Japan covering the rest. Candidates under 45 with Class 10, 12, or graduate-level education can apply. Talks with South Korea and Germany are underway to expand opportunities.
