AJP Chief Questions Fairness of Probe into Zubeen Garg’s Death

AJP president Lurinjyoti Gogoi on Monday questioned the transparency of the investigation into singer Zubeen Garg’s death in Singapore. He alleged links between some accused and Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, casting doubt on a fair probe.

Gogoi highlighted conflicting reports on the cause of death and criticised delays in the SIT’s visit to Singapore. He also demanded the post-mortem report be made public and sought DGP Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta’s resignation on moral grounds.
