Violence Erupts Outside Baksa Jail Over Zubeen Garg Death Case

Violence broke out outside Baksa District Jail on Wednesday after five accused in singer Zubeen Garg’s death case were transferred there. Angry supporters alleged VIP treatment for the accused and demanded capital punishment. Protesters torched vehicles and clashed with police, leading to injuries among demonstrators and journalists. Police used tear gas and lathi charge to control the mob. Prohibitory orders were imposed, and heavy security was deployed as tensions remain high in the area.
