Charan Boro Joins Assam Cabinet as BPF Formally Enters NDA

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma expanded his cabinet on Saturday, inducting Majbat MLA Charan Boro of the Bodoland People’s Front (BPF). The move marks BPF’s formal entry into the BJP-led NDA government in Assam. This is the fourth and likely final cabinet expansion before next year’s assembly elections. BPF’s inclusion follows its strong performance in the Bodoland Territorial Council polls, further consolidating NDA’s influence in lower Assam.
