Nalbari to Build ‘Mayabini Park’ in Memory of Zubeen Garg

A month after Zubeen Garg’s passing, Nalbari residents paid tribute to the icon on Sunday, announcing ‘Mayabini Park’ in his honour. Urban Affairs Minister Jayanta Mallabaruah unveiled the plan for the eight-bigha park, featuring a statue, museum, and documentary on Garg’s life. Nahor saplings were distributed to honour his love for nature. A commemorative book Sowari and another tribute Mayabini were also released during the emotional ceremony attended by artistes and officials.
