Assam Labourers Rescued from NSCN (K) Abduction in Tirap

Two Assam labourers, Gopal Baurtel and Arjun Bordoloi, kidnapped by NSCN (K) insurgents in Tirap on October 18, were rescued by Assam Rifles and Longding police on October 19 after a firefight. The joint operation ensured their safe return during a targeted search in the Ngisa-K Nokna and Nginnu-K Nokna areas.
