IIT Guwahati Wins Global 24-Hour Animation Contest

A team from IIT Guwahati won first prize at the international 24 Hours Contest 2025 by Toon Boom Animation, defeating 764 teams from 35 countries. Guided by Dr. Mriganka Madhukaillya, students Arin Bandyopadhyay, Aditya Ravi Pawar, Aseel Pasha, and S Balasankar impressed judges with their short film on the theme “Flip Your Perspective.” The winners will receive passes to TAAFI 2026, professional software, and mentorship from Disney animators.
