Traffic Restrictions in Guwahati for Chhath Puja on Oct 27–28

Guwahati Traffic Police announced traffic curbs from 11 am on October 27 to 11 am on October 28 for Chhath Puja. Entry of heavy vehicles into the city is banned, and only vehicles carrying devotees or Puja items will be allowed on MG Road. Parking at Lachit Ghat is prohibited, with alternative parking at designated city spots. Authorities urged devotees to follow traffic rules for a safe celebration.
