Hagrama Mohilary Launches ‘Give and Take’ Policy, Announces Land Patta Distribution in BTC

BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary chaired the first executive meeting of the new BTC government on Monday, announcing land patta distribution before the Assembly polls. To address staff shortages, 29 retired officials and 200 trained youths will be temporarily appointed. The meeting also discussed the utilisation of ₹100 crore for sectors like fishery, piggery, and handloom. Mohilary said BTC will present its interim budget alongside the state’s and confirmed BJP’s inclusion in the council with two members and a deputy speaker.
