Myanmar Delegation to Visit Assam in Search of Ahom Heritage

A 10–12 member delegation from Myanmar, descendants of Chaolung Siu-Ka-Pha, will visit Sivasagar on November 7 to explore their family roots and Ahom heritage. Assam’s Deputy Chief Minister and a Khamti cultural troupe will join the reception. Cultural performances and traditional food will be featured, while organisers hope the visit strengthens future cooperation between communities.
