CM Announces Police Appointments, HSLC Aid and Orunodoi Expansion

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced key initiatives, including police recruitment appointments, student support and expansion of welfare schemes. Appointment letters for constable, commando, AB, UB and SI posts will be issued on December 3 in Guwahati.

He also launched a ₹300 monthly support scheme for HSLC aspirants, with payments starting November 28. Additionally, Sarma confirmed that the Orunodoi scheme will officially extend to the Bodoland Territorial Council region from December 12, after finalising the beneficiary list.
