Elderly Man Dies in Hengarabari House Fire

An elderly man, identified as Dharmeshwar Bania, died after a fire engulfed a rented house in Guwahati’s Hengarabari area on Saturday afternoon. The blaze, which broke out around 1:30 PM, spread rapidly while the man was alone inside. Firefighters later brought the situation under control, but vehicles and household items were destroyed. The cause of the fire is yet to be confirmed.
