NRL Trains 60 Assam Youth for Energy Sector Jobs

Over 60 youths from Assam have received specialised skill training under a Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) initiative aimed at preparing them for India’s growing energy sector.
The six-month residential programme, conducted in two batches, focuses on technical skills needed in the piped natural gas ecosystem. The second batch is currently underway and will conclude in February 2026.
The project, supported under NRL’s CSR and executed with ITI Majuli, aims to bridge the skills shortage in the natural gas sector and create employment opportunities for underprivileged youth.
