Notorious Theft Accused Arrested by Dispur Police in Guwahati

City police arrested Vishal Vishwakarma, a known offender wanted in multiple theft cases across Guwahati.

The arrest was made by a team from Dispur Police Station after sustained efforts, police said. Vishwakarma had several cases registered against him at different police stations and had previously been jailed multiple times before allegedly returning to crime.

He has been taken into custody for further legal proceedings, officials added.
