Amit Shah to Inaugurate Guwahati Police Commissionerate, Command Centre on Dec 29

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate Guwahati’s new Police Commissionerate and an Integrated Command and Control Centre on December 29, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said. The centre will monitor over 2,000 CCTV cameras across Guwahati to boost security, traffic management and emergency response. Shah will also inaugurate the Jyoti Bishnu Prekhyagriha, the Northeast’s largest auditorium with a 5,000-seat capacity.
