Customs Seize Rs 1.46 Crore Worth of Cannabis at Guwahati Airport

Customs officials of the Guwahati Customs Division seized about 1.463 kg of suspected hydroponic cannabis during baggage screening at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport on December 24. The contraband was detected in checked-in baggage of passengers travelling from DMK to GAU. A preliminary test confirmed cannabis, and a case has been registered under the NDPS Act, 1985. The seized drugs are valued at around Rs 1.46 crore.
