Amit Shah Arrives in Assam, Inaugurates Major Cultural and Security Projects

Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Guwahati on Monday for a day-long visit to inaugurate several key infrastructure and cultural projects across Assam.

He is set to inaugurate the Batadrava Cultural Project at Borduwa in Nagaon, the birthplace of Srimanta Sankardeva, along with the Jyoti Bishnu Cultural Complex in Guwahati. Shah will also open the new Guwahati Police Commissionerate building and the Integrated Command and Control System (ICCS), which will monitor over 2,000 CCTV cameras to strengthen city security.

Welcoming him, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said the visit marks a new phase of growth and cultural revival for the state.
