Vigilance Cell Searches Sonapur School in Disproportionate Assets Probe

The Chief Minister’s Special Vigilance Cell conducted a search at Radiant International School in Sonapur as part of an ongoing probe against Sushil Kumar Tamuli, an Assistant Engineer with the Panchayat and Rural Development Department. The action follows earlier raids at his Guwahati properties over allegations of assets disproportionate to known income.

Officials said a case has been registered, and preliminary findings point to multiple properties and businesses allegedly linked to Tamuli. During searches, the vigilance team seized gold ornaments, bank passbooks and financial documents, with further investigation underway.
