AJP Alleges Voter List Manipulation in Assam’s Special Revision

The Assam Jatiya Parishad (AJP) has alleged large-scale irregularities in the ongoing Special Revision of electoral rolls in Assam, accusing the BJP of adding migrant voters from Bihar while deleting names of genuine indigenous voters. The party claimed unfamiliar names were inserted using local addresses in Guwahati and other areas, while legitimate voters were removed.

AJP leaders also alleged that voter list revision and constituency delimitation are being used to weaken indigenous Assamese communities, raising concerns over the credibility of the electoral process.
