FIR Filed Over Forged Letter Using Sarbananda Sonowal’s Name

An FIR has been lodged after a fake letter falsely attributed to Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal circulated on social media. Sonowal said the letter, bearing a forged signature and official letterhead, is entirely fabricated and malicious. His office filed a complaint at Parliament Street police station, New Delhi, and sought a priority investigation and strict legal action against those responsible.
