Three Arrested in Guwahati for Fake Gold and Counterfeit Currency Racket

Guwahati police arrested three persons after busting an alleged racket involving counterfeit gold and fake Indian currency notes. Acting on intelligence inputs, a Gorchuk police team intercepted the suspects and recovered fake gold and 199 counterfeit ₹500 notes.

A vehicle allegedly used in the operation was also seized. The arrested persons are residents of North Lakhimpur, Chaygaon and Bihpuria.
