Youth Arrested for AI-Based Blackmail of Makum Woman

Makum police arrested a 22-year-old youth from West Bengal for allegedly using AI technology to create obscene videos to blackmail a woman from Makum. The accused had connected with the victim through social media and threatened to upload the videos after objecting to her marriage. Following an FIR, police arrested him in Kolkata and produced him before the Tinsukia court under relevant sections of the BNS and IT Act.
