Hojai to Hold ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ Awareness Programme on January 24

As part of Hojai District Day celebrations, the district administration and civil society will organise a ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ awareness programme on January 24 at Rabindranath Tagore University, Hojai. The event will focus on women’s safety and empowerment, with Assam State Women’s Commission chairperson Angurlata Deka attending as chief guest. Citizens, academicians and students have been urged to participate.
