GMC Launches New Sanitation Machinery to Boost City Cleanliness

The Guwahati Municipal Corporation on Wednesday launched a fleet of modern sanitation machines to improve cleanliness and waste management in the city. The equipment, including sweeping machines, auto tippers, suction machines and dump tanks, was flagged off by Urban Affairs Minister Jayanta Malla Baruah. Officials said the new machinery will enhance mechanised cleaning, waste collection and drainage maintenance under the Swachh Bharat Mission.
