Assam Police Reshuffle: 82 Officers Transferred, Some Promoted

The Assam government has carried out a major reshuffle in the police department, transferring 82 officers across various ranks, including Additional SP, SP, DSP and Assistant Commandant. Some officers have also been promoted. The transfers cover headquarters, crime branches, border units, special branches, armed battalions and district offices to fill vacancies and streamline policing operations.
