Under-Construction Bridge Collapses on NH-27 in Dima Hasao

A portion of an under-construction bridge near Harangajao on the Saurashtra–Silchar stretch of NH-27 collapsed on Sunday, raising fresh concerns over construction quality on the East–West Corridor in Dima Hasao district. The incident occurred as authorities had been indicating timelines for opening the highway.
