BJP Launches Statewide ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatra’ in Assam

The BJP on Saturday launched its statewide “Jan Ashirwad Yatra” from Dhekiajuli in Sonitpur district in the presence of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and state BJP president Dilip Saikia. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister highlighted the government’s development and welfare initiatives and urged people to support the vision of a developed Assam. The yatra covered several areas on the first day and will continue across the state as part of the party’s mass outreach programme.
