UPPL Releases Second Candidate List for Assam Assembly Polls

The United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) has announced its second list of candidates for the Assam Assembly elections, aiming to strengthen its position in the Bodoland Territorial Region.

Approved by party president Pramod Boro, the list includes Rakesh Brahma (Baksa ST), Nityananda Basumatary (Gohpur), Baburam Basumatary (Barchalla), and Manoj Basumatary (Boko-Chaygaon ST).

The party expressed confidence that the candidates will represent local aspirations ahead of the April 9 polls.
