Six Killed in Ambulance–Truck Collision in Sonitpur

Six people died and two were injured after an ambulance collided with a truck near Dhekiajuli on NH-15 in Sonitpur district on Sunday evening.

The ambulance, carrying a patient and family members from Tulip Tea Estate to Tezpur Medical College, was completely mangled in the crash.

Police reached the spot, recovered the bodies, and shifted the injured to hospital. The accident also caused heavy traffic congestion on the highway.
