NFR Completes ROB at Gauripur, Easing Traffic and Improving Safety

The Northeast Frontier Railway has completed a Road Over Bridge (ROB) at Gauripur, replacing a busy level crossing to improve traffic flow and safety.

The 940-metre-long bridge connects Gauripur and Alamganj, featuring a three-lane roadway built to highway standards.

The project is expected to reduce congestion, prevent accidents, and boost connectivity and economic activity along the Gauripur–Dhubri route.
