Guwahati Minor Trafficked to Haryana via Facebook, Rescued

A Class X student from Guwahati was allegedly trafficked to Haryana and sold for ₹2 lakh after being lured through Facebook.

Police said the accused, Rakib Ali, befriended her online with false marriage promises before abducting her. After an FIR, a rescue operation led to her recovery in Haryana and the arrest of one accused.

The investigation is ongoing to trace the main accused and others involved.
