Fast-Track Court Set for Zubeen Garg Case, One-Year Deadline

A fast-track sessions court has been set up in Guwahati to hear the Zubeen Garg death case, with instructions to complete the trial within one year of its first sitting.

The court will handle State of Assam vs. Shyam Kanu Mahanta & 6 Others and will be presided over by Judge Sharmila Bhuyan. The move aims to ensure swift justice, with a possible extension if required.
