ECI Declares Dry Days in Assam Ahead of Polls

The Election Commission of India has ordered dry days in Assam from April 7 (5 pm) to April 9 (5 pm), and on May 4 (counting day), banning the sale and service of alcohol.

The restriction applies to all liquor outlets, hotels, clubs, and even private storage, with strict enforcement to ensure fair and peaceful elections.
